Since my last blog I've been busy working on copywriting projects with new clients. Many of the businesses I'm currently helping haven't invested in professional copywriting support before.
The great news is that they're already seeing the benefits with increased web traffic, engagement and new customer enquiries from the regular blogs and copywriting services I'm providing.
Latest new copywriting clients: Blog services and English editing
One of my new clients - which I work with on an ad-hoc basis - is an Australian-based video production and video marketing company. This business specialises in bringing Australian products to the Chinese market.
I've been helping them translate their services into engaging English copy, editing their video scripts and producing catchy slogans and straplines for their clients that reflect brand positioning.
Another client is an Australian perforated metal and wire mesh manufacturer, which I work with on a retainer basis. I provide regular weekly blogs on anything and everything to do with perforated metal and mesh, from interior design inspo to custom project case studies and carefully-crafted stories that are designed to showcase their expertise and knowledge. All SEO optimised for their keywords, so they're in the top organic search rankings.
Who comes up with blog ideas? Client or copywriter?
I don't rely on my clients to tell me blog topics - that's my job. I'll come up with a blog editorial calendar of engaging topics that are relevant and useful to their customers, positioning my client as a trusted expert, whilst also supporting any business strategy and marketing goals.
If there's any great new projects or company news to shout about, these can easily be slotted in. As well as any reactive blogs needed for breaking industry news or events. As a copywriter everything is always fluid and I'm always ready on standby - because you never know when your words are needed for a crisis management situation.
